City Targets Accreditation for All Puskesmas and RSUK in 2018

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama targets to give accreditation for all community health center (puskesmas) and sub-district hospital (RSUK). Those health facilities must improve the facilities to get the accreditation.

Accreditation is divided into four stages. First stage is given for 13 sub-district puskesmas and 12 RSUKs. Jakarta has 305 urban village puskesmas, 44 sub-district puskesmas and 20 RSUKs.

According to him, only completed puskesmas and RSUK will get accreditation. Not only complete facilities, puskesmas must also has three specialist doctors minimal.
